Welcome To The Armstrong`s Website.
In the 60`s when I was Racing, I spent quite a lot of time injured and had to find some way of passing the time so I took up oil painting. Most of my pictures are in other places now,( One went to Tina Turner, one to my mother, now at a friends who looked after her, others were sold to fund racing and target shooting. One very large one of Tina was sold on the internet,)
but I still have a few shown below.
Above left, I still have the "dress" one, but the one on the right that I did of Tina in Rio has sadly been sold. You just have to let some things go if the money is right. Good job a picture of me painting it was taken really, otherwise there would not be a record of it. It is out there somwhere though. Let me know if you have seen it.
Portrait of a beautiful woman and a beautiful bike, what more could a man want?
Painted in about 1962 / 63 recovering from injuries.
This is a very poor picture, of a nice painting that I did for a shooter that I was working with in 1994. However the lady did not like it and so I still have it somewhere, I must try and find it to get a better photo of it. This particular shooter should have been at least an Olympian and could have been world champion.Trouble is you have to have more then talent to be successful. Mainly finance and commitment.
Paintings done in 2013.Style change or what?

I met the lady at the time I was in bands doing club and pub gigs. She was one great jazz singer, Sandy was her name, wonder where she got to?
